So there's going to be trouble (but nevertheless a good evenin's entertainment with murders you can really hum...)

Review: THIS BOOOOOK! Did everything for me that I needed it to do! I have a weird thing about reading these books in their chronological order and I hadn't read any terry for a while. I need, well wanted, to read something for me, something in between books that I had to read, and so I saw my Terry pile and thought right i'm getting back in the game.

You know what you're getting with Terry and he packs in punch after punch. Each book has a specific them and focus and then he goes in hard. With this there is somewhat of a tendency to put too much in because its joke after joke quip upon quip, but you let it go because he's funny, it is on point and you regularly laugh out LOUD, publicly.

As many people know I love theatre so this was right up my alley, i'm buying a ticket and getting a front row seat. Every stereotype in the theatre is played out here, both in clear verbose ways and in small subtle ways. Here we have The Phantom of the Opera ripped to shred and it is amazing! I love all the little throw backs to that and the other shows and how they play on the craziness of Opera.

There is potential when you have so much going on to loose people but each character stands out soooo strong on their own. This is one of the beautiful skills of Pratchett's writing. You get to learn individual personalities and you can see them so strong in my mind as I'm reading them.

In many ways the cover emphasises this. These covers are works of ART. They're beautiful and explosive and I could type a lot more but I've said it all already so just watch;)

Terry's writing as ever, is smart funny and I'm glad I've come back to him, and I've still got a long way to go! I'm excited to come back to these characters, meet new worlds and explore a world that knows no boundaries!
