Meet The Team

Hello there,
Casey Ann here. Creator of DarkReaders. When I'm not at work I am here blogging about books for you awesome peeps. As well as that I'm a book tuber & professional fangirl. Shakespeare, Evan Peters, Harry Styles, American people, Paranormal Romance and Chocolate are just some of my obsessions! (UK)

Hi, Stephen here, London boy (well man now!) born and bred, living in my library with a slightly addictive passion for books. I remember (cliché as this probably is) reading Harry Potter as a nipper, and then re-reading it about five times I was that hooked. Its been a roller-coaster ride from there on in, which has seen me work as a librarian,  then in a bookshop, do a Masters in Publishing (I'm a Master of the books!!) and compile my library of around 800 books....and counting. I like to read a lot of different things (especially if I think I'm not going to like it, as I normally do by the end), something with a unique edge to it, but really love a bit of fantasy where I can dive into a whole new world. (UK)

Hello there, it's Nicole and Marija from Let's Talk Books on youtube! We're life long best friends from New York, and we both share a passion for reading. So, seven months ago we started making booktube videos, it's been such a blast so far! We're so happy to now be apart of such an awesome book blog! Hope you all enjoy us!

Hey, I'm Hayley. Most people that know me would consider me a bookworm. I have always loved to read but I feel that reading Ian McEwan's Enduring Love at school helped re-ignite my passion for books. I have a degree in New Media Journalism and I also have the NCTJ journalist qualification. I am currently doing all I can to break into the media industry. I enjoy reading and writing so why not combine the two. I hope you enjoy reading my reviews just as much as I enjoy writing them.

Hi there,

I've recently uploaded an Ebook onto Amazon kindle, and was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing it?

Called 'Blackspoon,' it's a pulp crime thriller about a young RAF officer who is coerced into smuggling heroin back from the war in Afghanistan.

Thanks for your time,

Best wishes,

Dan Eagleton

Hi,

My name is Vincent Monteleone and I recently self published my first book, Dying to Live. I was wondering if you would be interested in reviewing it for me? Looking forward to hearing from you.

Below is the amazon link, and the back cover summary.

"Dying to Live introduces Brendon Merullo, a boy with the usual childhood fantasies of winning the World Series for the Yankees, the NBA Championship for the Knicks, and the Super Bowl for the Jets. Unfortunately for the cause of New York sports, he puts away his dreams and then works—hard–and makes a success of his life, at least, according to the world’s standards. The author, Vincent J. Monteleone, shares the outcome of dreams and work colliding:

The eight-year-old version of me would actually be disgusted with the man I grew up to be. I rarely do anything that I want to do during the day because I am too busy working. Then when I get home I am too tired to do anything fun or that I want to do. Usually I just end up sitting on the couch in front of the television like a zombie until I cannot keep my eyes open any longer and it is time to go up to bed to rest up for another day of the daily grind.

But then, one day Brendon goes to the doctor and hears news he never expected to hear. From that moment on, he begins to discover the deep truths about life and death.

Dying to Live will inspire you to look at your own life in a fresh way and draw you in to turn its pages to find out what happens to Brendon Merullo."

Regards,

Vincent (vincentmonteleone@gmail.com)
