ABOUT FIRST TOUCH:
When Emily Wayborn goes home to visit her mom while on hiatus from her hit TV show, she receives a voicemail from her former best friend, Amber. Though the two were once notorious party girls, they haven't spoken in years. Although the message might sound benign to anyone else, Amber uses a safe word that Emily recognizes, a word they always used to get out of sticky situations during their wild days. And what's more chilling than the voicemail: it turns out that Amber has gone missing.

Determined to track down her friend, Emily follows a chain of clues that lead her to the enigmatic billionaire Reeve Sallis, a hotelier known for his shady dealings and play boy reputation. Now, in order to find Amber, Emily must seduce Reeve to learn his secrets and discover the whereabouts of her friend. But as she finds herself more entangled with him, she finds she's drawn to Reeve for more than just his connection to Amber, despite her growing fear that he may be the enemy. When she's forced to choose where her loyalty lies, how will she decide between saving Amber and saving her heart?

REVIEW:
*This book was sent to me in exchange for an honest review.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around that cliffhanger, and what it means for the second book.

Give me sometime while I sit in the corner and dwell on it.

Firstly, I love the idea of this book being an erotica that is filled with so much suspense. It let's you stray away from it being just another erotica novel. Which it is not!

The story grips you from the beginning when Emily realizes that her old best friend, Amber is in trouble. You start to review where their friendship started, and fell apart. You learn the key role Amber played in Emilies life, which ultimately shaped who she is now. You get to explore every shade of Emily as a person - her inner most darkest secerts and desires. She puts on this tough exterior, but she is a woman who has delt with many battles throughout her life. She is strong and independent, yet there is clearly something that is missing in her life.

That's Reeve.

REEVE! Talk about a complicating character. I still haven't figured this man out yet, but it just makes me even more excited for part two. He was mesmerizing and frightening all at once. Most of the time I didn't trust him, or fully understand what his intention with Emily was.

Their was no denying the affinity they had for one another. The scenes they shared were fire! It was dark and disturbing, but it was also intoxicating! There were quite a few times where I needed a minute to breath, and come back to the real world.

The development between them was executed greatly. Just when I had my doubt, or was questioning a few things, the author had it all answered. You slowly get to see them trust each other more, which I loved!

Overall, I'm totally hooked on this story! I love nothing more than feeling so many emotions all at once when reading a book. It's a perplexing story, that will leave readers breathless!
